December 8th, 2010

It’s great to see so many changes being made locally…

The town of Natick, Mass., plans to use part of a state grant to fund a solar array at a middle school — a project that could save the town more than $15,000 a year in energy costs.

Plymouth, Massachusetts schools are going Green and saving Green.Private developers would install solar panels on the roofs at their own cost and sell a portion of the energy they generate back to the schools at drastically reduced cost.

And for our Patriots Fans…

The Kraft family, the team’s owners, are fervently committed to solar power and clean technology because they "believe this is the way the world is going," says their business group’s director of site development, Dan Krantz. In fact, the solar panels at the stadium are the largest collection of any professional sports complex in North America.

Sunlight trap could help turbo-charge solar panels >>

April 30th, 2010
